New R15 v/s Old R15

Many of u might me thinking that what is diffrence among the new r15 and the old one . There is a lot of difference between theese two .Old  R15 was known as baby R1 and the new one is popularly known as baby R6. Here are some of the major diffrences among theese.



LOOKS, APPEARANCE & FEATURES:

• First thing that cathes our mind in new r15 is that it has got a step up seat like R6 and the tires are wider than the older one but in old R15 there is no step up seat and tires are too thin .
• In the new model the mask and the headlamps are also different then the older one.
• The newer one has got 10 spoke alloy wheels but the older one has got simple alloys.
• The instrument cluster is totally different in the newer one.
• The newer one has got tottaly new graphics than the older one.

ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS :

• The newer one has got the all new engine fairing.
• Expected power is 22 bhp in the newer one but the older has got only 17bhp.
• The newer one has got  maximum torque of 19 nm but the older one has got only 15 Nm .

PRICE :

• It is expected that New Yamaha R15 will be priced more or less in same price range of around 1.23 lakhs (On-Road Mumbai,Delhi).
• The old one is available at rs.1,12,000 On road.

Launch Date of 2011 New Yamaha R15 :

•  6th September (Officially Announced).
